Final unit clear out, Saturday 3rd September 2016

Harrow and Wembley Sea Cadets unit, will no longer parade at Woodlands Road. We would like to thank ALL the cadets, staff, committee and parents that were involved with the building over the countless years. So much history and good memories have come from that building! We will continue to develop the unit  from St Anselms Church hall, with our committed staff and enthusiastic cadets and support from the parents and committee. 

Headstone Manor Village show, Monday 29th...

Senior cadets helped within their community, at the Headstone Manor Village show, assisting with the car-park stewarding whilst the Junior Sea Cadets talking to members of the public at the recruitment stand. Thank you also to the parents that helped that day. 

Unit Rowing course, August, 2016

Harrow units qualified Rowing instructor is pleased to say a big well done to all the cadets who took part in the Rowing taster day, and achieved Competent Crew or  Supervised Coxswain in addition with the two Juniors who also passed their Water Safety Test. Thank you to the WHBS for allowing us to use their facilities to run the course. 

Family fun day and BBQ Saturday, 20th August

Family members of our cadets had the opportunity to try out some Raft-building, stand-up-paddle boarding, sailing and rowing. This was followed by a lovely BBQ organised by the committee. Overall a great day, and the official announcement of Harrow's RNP results, a Burgee! A HUGE CONGRATULATIONS and THANKYOU to all the cadets, staff, committee members as well as the great support from all the parents. Harrow unit would also like to thank the Welsh Harp Boat Station staff for their continuous support. 

Summer holiday boating, July, 2016

During the summer, cadets enjoyed various boating unit activities to practice their skills, as well as boating courses held at the WHBS. Well done to all the cadets that achieved boating qualifications over the summer.
