13 of T.S SUPERB's cadets attended the area swimming competition, helping Chestaffs district to take home the overall winners trophy. All of the Cadets from Stafford and Rugeley managed to return home with a medal which was an incredible effort!

This month, we celebrated the promotion of Colour Sergeant (SCC) Folland, our Executive Officer, after successfully completing the CPO/CSgt qualifying course at SCTC Caledonia. She passed with the second highest score on the board, which is a brilliant achievement and shows how hard work and dedication really pays off!!

the Cadets from our unit took part in the District swimming competition in September, many of the Cadets either won their races or will go forward to Area competition, representing Chestaffs District.

Well done to all of the Cadets who went to the competition!

Thanks to grants and match funding from the John Merricks Sailing Trust and the Sea Cadet Corps, we took delivery of a brand new RS Quest  this month (August).

After some issues with the plastic which led to a delay in it being delivered, we finally took ownership of the new quest which will now add to our existing fleet and let us keep our boating hours above target! it'll soon be whizzing across Blithfield so watch this space :)

22 Cadets and 3 Staff from our unit joined up with the rest of Chestaffs district Sea Cadets in August to travel to the south of France for and activity holiday that we could only dream of!

For 7 days, the cadets took part in a wide variety of adventurous pursuits including; Canoeing down the Ardech river, navigating rapids, taking part in rock jumps and generally improving the paddling skills. Later in the week Cadet went sailing and windsurfing on the Mediterranean sea in the sweltering heat in Pico's, catamarans and even some fun boats! the week was rounded off with Cadets getting a ride on a banana boat and abseiling and climbing!
