What we do
At Ramsgate and Broadstairs we aim to give young people an experience that will help them grow into the person they want to be in a safe and friendly environment. Through various activities and adventures, we learn teamwork, respect, loyalty, self-confidence, commitment, self-discipline, honesty and how to be the best version of ourselves.

We offer a range of different activities from sailing, windsurfing and powerboating - to rock climbing, camping, and music - plus, so much more! At Ramsgate and Broadstairs you are also able to gain different qualifications that you can take with you once you leave Sea Cadets!

Ramsgate Unit is based in the Royal Harbour.
We focus on training for a future in the Maritime Sector. Many of Ramsgate's Cadets are now at Sea with both the Merchant Navy and Royal Navy, or in sponsored training for Deck Officer and Engineering qualificationss.
Start the fun with, Rowing, Sailing, and Power Vessel training and associated skills in Seamanship and Navigation. Offering R.Y.A. based training with fully skilled instructors. In addition,we offer full access to all Sea Cadet Training activities Locally, Area, and Nationally.
