A number of Cadets and staff enjoyed making the most of the Sailing Academies provided by NWA Boat Station at Crosby Lake Adventure Centre this summer.

Here you can see some cadets celebrating the fact they completed the Sailing qualification by collectively jumping into the water!

Thank You to all the staff at Crosby for training and developing our cadets each week!

TS Royalist Scholarship

TS Royalist Scholarship

CONGRATULATIONS:

It is great news to hear that one of our Cadets has been successful in securing a scholarship to cover the cost of a two week offshore voyage onboard the Sea Cadets new Flagship TS Royalist. The two week trip would usually cost £425.  Cadets will experience the most exhilarating – and unique challenges while onboard TS Royalist. Nothing compares to the feeling of being out at sea, right there in the elements. Cadets will pull together with other cadets to safely navigate Britain's and neighbouring countries coastlines. This is teamwork taken to another level.

Offshore operations give cadets a great opportunity to develop their nautical knowledge and skills, complementing the nautical training they gain at unit level. If you would like to take on challenging nautical training in a voyage on one of our vessels get in touch to find out how.
