An opportunity with many layers

We both believe that young people should have the opportunity to thrive and be who they want to be. Partner with us to experience first-hand how young people transform their fears into confidence through safe and encouraging water activities, so they can step up with pride when the unexpected happens.

If you want to show that you understand the pressures young people are facing today and want to help, Sea Cadets can be your national partner with local roots. We are on the ground either on the coast or in cities supporting and inspiring young people across the UK so they can do better at school, at home and within their communities.

Campaign with us by joining our #ScrapPlastic challenge!

Plastic pollution is a major environmental issue and is getting worse. We have already seen the impact that drifting plastic in the water has in making it difficult to deliver safe, water based activities to young people.

This is why we are launching the #ScrapPlastic campaign again this summer, so we can make an impact that lasts!

Find out more today about how you can get your company involved in our environmental campaign this summer, to create a more sustainable future and fundraise for Sea Cadets! The challenge is ideal for companies looking to make a difference.

OTHER ways to work with us

The opportunities are endless and we would love to have a chat with you and bring some ideas together to discuss how we can shake an industry.

  • Engage your employees

If your company needs a fun and engaging way to bring your employees together we can arrange for your sailing regattas on our RS21 keelboats, rowing or kayaking competitions in one of our five centres in the UK. Activities delivered on the water help people to work together, trust each other and build their confidence in a competitive but friendly environment.  Spend some time with us on the water, learn new skills and have a laugh. All to support disadvantaged young people to give them better head start in life – what’s not to like about it!

  • Get involved in projects and events

There are a range of national and local sponsorship opportunities through projects such as the 'On The Water' outreach programme and campaigns such as 'My Legasea'. Sponsorship of these could link your brand to flagship events which engage hundreds of young people and make a difference in your local community.

Our challenge events portfolio is designed to engage with those who like long or short runs, swims, cycles or even skydiving. Check our available events here and get in touch with our Events team on events@ms-sc.org or call Becky Wanbon on 0207 654 7014.

  • Support us through Payroll Giving

Invite us in to tell your staff about what Payroll Giving can do to help struggling teenagers. We can even bring in some cadets to tell their stories themselves. Payroll Giving is a scheme that enables your employees to give to our charity straight from their gross salary (before tax is deducted), and to receive immediate tax relief. Payroll Giving provides us with regular, reliable donations that allow us to plan ahead and budget for the future. By signing up to Payroll Giving, you can generate a vital unrestricted income stream which unable us to plan ahead our activities with young people.

To sign up the company just download a CAF Give As You Earn application pack and return it by post.  If this is the first CAF product the company is signing up to, then you will also need to complete an Organisation Registration Form

We have an experience in managing partnerships worth £1 million, working with top brands and well-known people. We are good at connecting people and putting together spectacular events.

Encourage your employees to volunteer at their local Sea Cadets unit. They can not only support their local communities, but learn new skills such as sailing or powerboating and spend some quality outdoor time close to nature.

To discuss the above and more, please get in touch with the Fundraising Team at fundraising@ms-sc.org or call on 0207 654 7016. She would love to bring your ideas to life!
