Corporate Support

Who we work with

We are always delighted to develop a relationship with any company, large or small, national or regional. We would like to say a huge thank you to all of our corporate partners for their fantastic support. This page lists both our past successes and our current supporters.

Royal Navy - The Royal Navy is our biggest supporter. All our cadets learn the traditions and values of the Royal Navy at their unit that gives them a great head start if they wish to pursue a career with them.

Carnival UK - Carnival Corporation & plc, parent company of Southampton-based P&O Cruises and Cunard, has donated £380,000 towards Sea Cadets’ new flagship. The cruise lines is supporting the seamanship qualification which will enable 14,000 Sea Cadets aged 10 - 18 to broaden their career options in the maritime industry.

Sainsbury’s Local - Last year upto 40 units were chosen as Sainsbury’s Local Charity of the year! As part of this partnership, Sea Cadets bagpacked every weekend for their customers and asked for donations, which raised a massive £15,000 for units over the course of the year.

Rolls-Royce - Their world-class training and mentoring will open up a world of opportunities to cadets to experience practical roles within aeronautical engineering.

RS Sailing - In conjunction with RS Sailing and Jo Richards, Sea Cadets helped to design their latest dinghy RS Quest! It offers a low maintenance alternative for sailing schools and organisations. Commodore Jonathan Fry from the Ministry of Defence has approved the 24 RS Quests in support of the project for Sea Cadets.

UKSA – We are joining forces with UKSA (UK Sail Academy), a leading maritime youth development charity to offer life changing training to 14,000 young people across the UK. Working together Sea Cadets can access work experience, courses, qualifications and careers in yachting and watersports with UKSA.

Tall Ships Festival Belfast - The Tall Ships Festival Belfast 2015 has officially confirmed Sea Cadets and four other charities, RNLI, Ocean Youth Trust Ireland, Mission to Seafarers & Belfast Lough Sailability, as the official charity partners.
