Whitley Bay Sea Cadets was established in 1943.  Our unit name is TS Whitley, and our unit number is 361. We were given this prestigious title by the Sea Cadets, after the Second World War ship HMS Whitley.  

The unit motto is facta non verba which means deeds not words.

We have 35+ cadets (10-18 yrs) and 8 members of staff. 

We are curently a pennant holder.
