WATER BASED ADVENTURE

For many Sea Cadets, being on the water is what it is all about.

Sea Cadets offers you the chance to learn sailing, power boating, canoeing, rowing and windsurfing, plus diving.

All our acitvities are led by well qualified instructors.

Plus you can also gain recognised qualifications through the Royal Yachting Association (RYA), British Canoe Union (BCU) or British Sub Aqua Club. You can then put your skills into practice when you take part in our competitions and national regattas which take place across the country.

You can also learn new navigation skills and challenge yourself further by going to sea and putting those new skills into practice on one of our fleet of 6 offshore vessels which includes; 3 yachts, 2 power vessels; TS Jack Petchey and TS John Jerwood, and our flag ship TS ROYALIST a 29 metre brig.

The fleet circumnavigates the UK between March and November, crewed by cadets and offers you a chance to spend a week at sea. No previous experience is required and RYA qualifications can be gained.
