Phase 2 is completed

Its been a very long time in the planning and building phase, but we now have a fully water tight building. Phase 3, internal fit out will hopefully start soon.

Area Combined Regatta

Area Combined Regatta

Whilst a very long & hot demanding day, with temperatures hitting 29.5c, Our golden crews all brought home the gold.

Our Junior Girls, won their 2 heats to take the gold!

Our Junior Boys, won the gold K2 Sprint!

Our Senior Girls, Won the gold in the K2 Time trials!

All teams now go onto represent London Area at the upcoming National Combined Regatta, which is on the 19th & 20 Aug.

Royal Naval Support Visit 2022

Last night was our Royal Naval Support Visit (RNSV) we welcomed on board the Area Officer Cdr Nisbet, Senior Staff Officer Cdr Chittock, Area Training Officer Lt Cdr Tolley and The District Officer Lt Cdr Purcell.

The RNSV is where the unit is measured against different crieteiras and given a score. We are waiting for the final score and should be released very soon.

In true Black Swan fashion, the cadets had another great evening showing off their Adventure Training, Drill & Rowing Skills, whereas our juniors played hungry hippos and discussed water safety.

A special thank you was made to our Commanding Officer, Petty Officer Jonathan Ball, for all the work he has done behind the scenes and for opening our doors to as many different units as possible. 

District Regatta

District Regatta

Saturday 18th & Sunday 19th June, saw us enter both our district regattas. Our crews did a fantastict job. Overall, we placed 2nd in the paddlesport regatta and joint 1st in the rowing regatta.

A fantastic effort by all our cadets, which now see 10 of our cadets go onto the our area regatta to represent our district and hopefully onto teh national event
