Sea Cadets sailed the UK to raise vital funds!
Across the UK Sea Cadets were sailing at their unit and local boat stations to help sail a collective total of 7,380 miles - which is the number of miles equivalent to sail around the UK.
From Saturday 21 to Sunday 29 June Sea Cadets were out on the water to raise money for their unit and the national charity. It was a fantastic opportunity to build up sailing experience and perfect their technique too.
Units from Cornwall to John O'Groats got into their boats on lakes, reservoirs and rivers to help collectively row as many miles around the UK as they can in a bid to raise funds. So please show your support for the amazing contribution Sea Cadets make to each of their local communities, helping young people to learn new skills, building up confidence and self belief, so that they can get the best head start in life.
There's nothing more exciting than the thrill of navigating a tall ship through Britain's coastal waters as you learn to work together as a team or mountain bike down twisting lanes or climb up sheer rock faces.
