On Saturday 25th February the unit will be taking the cadets swimming to conduct the Sea Cadet Swim tests at a local swimming pool.
Every cadet that comes through the unit needs to take the sea cadet swim test so we are aware of your son/daughter swimming ability. The reason for testing the cadet’s ability to be able to swim is due to the activities we conduct with many of the activities being on the water.
If your son/daughter is a weak or non swimmer it is not a problem but if you could make us aware that they are a weak swimmer this will enable us to support your son/daughter.
If you can make sure your son/daughter brings their swimming kits on the above date and meet at the unit at 1330 and will need collecting from the unit at 1700 (5 o’clock). There is no additional charge for the swimming.
Please can you ensure your son/daughter has their free swimming leisure card with them if they hold one to enable us to get them in for free.
