Pastoral Care

As a multi-faith, non-denominational charity, we embrace all faiths and seek to work alongside young people and adults. In doing so our chaplaincy aims to spread the Corps values and support cadets and adults as they embrace new challenges. Throughout the Sea Cadets, chaplains appointed from clergy, lay readers and others with an authorised ministry work with each Unit to provide moral, spiritual and pastoral guidance

Chaplains serve all faith communities and work alongside young people and adults to provide guidance and leadership in spiritual, moral and community matters.

If you would like to volunteer as a Sea Cadet Chaplain please contact: the Staff Chaplain (SCC) Beau Brandie MBE RNR Tel: 01273 604687 staff.chaplain@btinternet.com

The Sea Cadet Prayer

Lord Bless this Ship and her Company and all Units of the Sea Cadet Corps throughout the Commonwealth.

Guide Elizabeth, our Queen, and protect all those who go down to the sea in ships.

Teach us to serve you as our Master on our earthly voyage, so that, at the last, we may come to the peace and safety of your eternal haven.

Through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.

Duke St Evangelical Church values its link with The Northampton Sea Cadets Corps. The unit colour is lodged in the Church & the Annual Sea Cadet Carol Service takes place in the Church. The Church also has a link with the Northampton Branch of the Royal Navy Association whose standard is laid up in the church.

Duke St Evangelical is a friendly Church with a warm welcome & seeks to serve the local community. The Church has links with other Churches in Northampton.

Sunday morning worship attracts all ages & we feel it is important to include children in our worship. After the first part of our family service, the children then have their own games whilst the teaching for adults is given. We have a communion service every Sunday of the year. Bible Study & Prayer is on Wednesday evenings with House Groups every month seeking to encourage one another in the faith. We have an active children's & Youth Work & are engaged in evangelicalism in our community.
