Harrogate Sea Cadets take young people from the age of 12 through to 18, we also have a Junior Cadet section which will take 11 to 12 year olds prior to joining the Cadet section.

We are a part of a national uniformed, disciplined youth organisation who try to help young people become better adults by incorporating fun with leadership, teamwork, self-discipline and time management.

Activities we offer are boating, canoeing, sailing, camping and parade training (including rifle drill) AND we do a load of other stuff as well!

All of our activities can be based inside or outside the Unit especially our team building exercises.

Everyone is welcome at the Unit and we encourage a "try before you buy" policy - so visit and see what its like to be a Sea Cadet and you will already see yourself rowing a boat and wearing your uniform.

So come along and have some SERIOUS FUN !!
