As a Sea Cadet you will test your talents and stamina and develop new skills to give you a head start in life. You will also get the chance to make new friends and have fun.

You can join us as a cadet if you are 10-18. Visit the main Sea Cadet site to see a full range of what's on offer.

If you would like to join our Sea Cadet Unit's compliment of approximately 40 cadets, we have a Junior Cadet section which can take cadets from the age of 10, and a senior section which takes cadets from 12 to 18 years old.

From April through to September, we have a busy boating calendar where RYA Sailing qualifications can be gained, as well as Rowing qualifications.

During the winter months we concentrate on Drill and cadet promotions.

To join, either drop us an email or give us a call on unit nights (answer machine at other times), and we can arrange a tour of our unit and give you the necessary paperwork. We have to insist that you attend your "introduction" night with a parent or guardian, as we need to explain some things to them as well.
