Colour Dedication

Cadets and staff from Severn District attended a special ceremony for the dedication of TS Legion's Colour on Sunday 29th April. A wonderful ceremony was conducted by Reverend Canon John Holder RNR in the presence of the Lord Lieutenant of Gloucestershire, Dame Janet Trotter DBE, the Mayoress of Cheltenham, Councillor Barbara Driver, other members of the Gloucestershire community and the Sea Cadets. The day was thankfully not spoiled by the dreadful weather conditions and so allowed everybody to enjoy the ceremony and the meaning of what they were doing.

Unit Review

Well done to all of the cadets and staff that attended the Unit Review on Thursday evening. It was great to see a full maindeck of proud youngsters and a higher standard of dress than in past parades. I good impression was made on our visitors and hopefully a good result will come out of the evening. A final well done to you all and now we just have to be patient and wait for the results.

Severn District Drill Competition

Well done to all of the cadets involved in the District Drill and Piping Competition!

Cheltenham Unit came home with 2nd place's across the board. Well deserved! Thank you to all of the staff that put in time and effort to help our Colour Party and Junior Pipers!

Cheltenham Circular Challenge

A MASSIVE WELL DONE - to all that took part in the Cheltenham Circular Challenge.

A long and tiring day, which was full of laughter, motivation and teamwork! A team of Sea Cadets (3 members of staff and 5 cadets) and also a team of Marine Cadets (2 members of staff and 4 cadets) kitted themselves out and walked/speed marched across 26 miles of land! With their determination they have been able to raise money for the unit to be spent on courses and equipment!!

Well Done Everyone you have made your unit very proud!!

Now to collect the sponsorship money!
