As a Sea Cadet you will test your talents and stamina and develop new skills to give you a head start in life. You will also get the chance to make new friends and have fun.

Boston unit is predominately a waterbourne unit. We can offer kayaking, pulling and power boating a short walk from the unit. We regularly travel to other units to gain qualifications and take part in competitions. We also send many of our cadets offshore on the T.S. City Liveryman, T.S. Vigilant, T.S. John Jerewood and T.S. Royalist. More information on these ships can be found on the main Sea Cadets website.
However we also offer shorebased qualifications like Engineering, Chartwork, Seamanship and Expedition Training. Senior cadets can gain a Btec in Public Services that is equivalent to four GCSEs at grades A* to C. Boston unit can give you access to fantastic opportunities whilst gaining qualifications that could be the beginning of an exciting career.
