Getting the band back together

We at Birkenhead Sea Cadet have had a history of being good at band but we havent had the band in a long time as you can tell by the photo. But with a bit of a push now we want to get it back up and running so if you have any musical experance and would like to help please contact us!

AREA DRILL COMPETITION

Birkenhead Sea Cadets Enterd there first drill competition in over 10 years this weekend. The unit enterd the Colour party section of the competition and come second overall beating last years winners Wallasey & Warrington who have won the competition before but we fell 1 point short from the winners that were Runcorn we wish them well at national drill. After the day was done one comment was made by Able Cadet Lynich who was the colour bearer that made the parade staff smile " wait till next year!"

The weekend of the 24th of febuary we had a cook steward weekend at Birkenhead unit with the cadets learning cooking and serving skills with 16 cadets in total and some of Runcon unit joining us for the weekend we had a 100 % pass rate well done to all !

Cadet Smith Off To National 5 A Side

Cadet Chloe Smith joined the unit just a short time ago passing out of new entrys the week before district football.After repersenting the unit at district she was noticed by the winners team manager CPO Parr of wallasey unit. She was then asked if she would like to join them at the area compatition to repersent wirral district and she did helping the team to win to become the best team in North West. She now is going to repersent the North West area and we wish hir well!
