Sea Cadets units have a backbone of  adult volunteers who give their time to instruct the cadets, give additional support where required and where they can to help the young people in our care. Below are the dedicated and skilled volunteers we are lucky to have at TS Hastings SCC...

Non Uniformed Adults

As well as uniformed adults forming the very visible adults within the unit, there are also un uniformed members of the organisation.

These can be grouped into four groups: Unit President, Unit Managment Team, Parent & Supports Association and Training Ship Hastings Association (First of it's kind to be formed in any unit of the Sea Cadets).

Unit Managment Team

The Unit Mamangement team are the non uniformed charity managment side of things, they are responsible for providing a safe training enviromnet for the cadets and mainly for the fundraising and work that goes behind keeping a safe unit and securing land and a building.

Parents & Supports Association

The Parents and Supporters Association is a comittee of people who fund raise for additional items that are not 'essential' such as a building and complying with Health & Safety legislation but are still useful for cadets such as a minibus. The P&SA is mae up of supporters and parents of the unit.

 TS Hastings Association

 

The TS Hastings Association is made up of current and ex Cadets/Staff from TS Hastings SCC.

Mission Statement:

We are in existence to provide TS Hastings SCC with an additional financial resource to help continue the good times had by cadets in the days past, the committee also seeks to also be a hub for those past cadets and staff to remain in contact and play a small role towards the unit.
